("Tripplis", "we", "us", "our"), operating the website tripplis.com, the Tripplis customer portal (portal.tripplis.com), and any associated mobile applications (collectively, the "Platform"), in connection with any person ("User", "you") who uses, purchases, or inquires about any Tripplis service, including visa assistance, travel insurance, attraction tickets and experiences, travel essentials, and related travel services.
This Policy is aligned with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDPA"), the Information TechnologyAct, 2000, and applicable rules made thereunder. By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your personal data as described in this Policy.

Definitions
Personal Data
Any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual, including name, contact details, identification numbers, location data, and online identifiers.
Account
A unique account registered by you for accessing the Platform.
Service Provider
Any third party engaged by Tripplis to process personal data on our behalf, including payment processors, document verification vendors, insurance partners, and ticketing partners.

Identity & Contact Data
Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, residential or billing address, city, state, and PIN code.
Account Data
Username, password (encrypted), account preferences, and security-related information.
Visa & Travel Document Data
Where you use our Visa Assistance service: copies of your passport, photographs, filled-in application forms, proof of travel/accommodation, employment or financial documents(e.g. bank statements), and any other document required by the relevant embassy,consulate, or visa-processing authority to process your application. For select destinations,this may also include biometric information collected as part of the visa process — this is handled with additional care as described in Section 8.
Insurance & Ticketing Data
Where you purchase Travel Insurance orAttraction Tickets & Experiences through us:traveller details, trip dates, plan/ticket selections, and any information required by our insurance or ticketing partners to fulfil your booking.
Payment Data
We do not store your full card details. Payment information is collected and processed directly by PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment gateway partners.
Technical & Usage Data
IP address, browser type and version, device identifiers, operating system, pages visited, time spent, referral source, and similar diagnostic data, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
Communications Data
Records of your correspondence with us via email, phone, WhatsApp, or chat, including support requests and feedback
Information from Third Parties
If you sign up or log in via a third-party service (e.g. Google or Facebook login), we may receive basic profile information (name, email, profile picture) as permitted by your account settings on that service. We do not knowingly collect any special category of sensitive personal data beyond what is strictly required to deliver a service you've requested (e.g. passport and travel documents for visa processing), and we do not collect health, biometric (beyond what an embassy specifically requires), or similarly sensitive data for any purpose unrelated to fulfilling your booking.

Process and submit your visa application to the relevant embassy/consulate/authorized visa-processing partner (such as VFS Global or similar outsourced agencies, where applicable).
Process your travel insurance purchase and share necessary details with our insurance partner.
Process your attraction ticket / experience booking and share necessary details with the relevant venue or ticketing partner.
Send booking confirmations, application status updates, and important notices via email, SMS, or WhatsApp.
Provide customer support and respond to your queries.
Send you promotional offers and newsletters (you may opt out at any time).
Detect and prevent fraud, and maintain the security of the Platform.
Comply with legal, regulatory, and embassy documentation requirements.
Conduct internal research, analytics, and service improvement.
Sharing of Personal Data
We may share your personal data with:
Embassies, consulates, and government visa-processing authorities
As required to process your visa application. Once shared, your data is governed by that authority's own data protection framework, over which we have no control.
Outsourced visa-processing partners
Such as VFS Global or similar agencies, where a destination country routes visa administration through such partners.
Insurance partners
To issue and administer your travel insurance policy.
Ticketing and experience partners
To fulfil attraction ticket and experience bookings.
Payment processors
To complete your transaction securely.
Service providers
For hosting, analytics, customer support tools, and document verification, under confidentiality obligations.
Legal and regulatory authorities
Where required by law, court order, or government request.
A successor entity
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring of Tripplis or Tinyant Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing use.
Sensitive Documents & Biometric Data
We recognize the sensitive nature of passport copies, financial documents, and any biometric data collected in connection with a visa application. Such data is:
Collected only where required by the relevant embassy/consulate for your specific application.
Stored using encryption and access controls, with access limited to authorized personnel who require it to process your application.
Not shared with any third party beyond what is strictly necessary to complete your visa, insurance, or ticketing request.
Retained only as long as necessary (see Section 11) and securely deleted or anonymized thereafter, subject to legal retention requirements.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand usage patterns.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Platform functionality.
Children's Data
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
Data Retention

Visa-related documents may be retained for a limited period after your application is completed to handle any post-issuance queries or amendment requests, after which they are securely deleted or anonymized.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures — including encryption, access controls, firewalls, and restricted personnel access — to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. Our Platform uses SSL encryption for data in transit. While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant regulatory authority without undue delay, as required by law.

Account & Data Deletion
To delete your Tripplis account and associated data:

Include your full name, registered contact details, and a statement confirming your deletion request.
We may request additional details to verify your identity.
We will process your request and confirm deletion via email, generally within 30 days.
Certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business/legal purposes (e.g. ongoing visa applications, unresolved disputes, or statutory recordkeeping).
Please note that deleting your account will also delete associated booking and application history, and this cannot be reversed.
Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. embassy portals, payment gateways, insurance or ticketing partners). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
Continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
